Let us Introduce Ourselves

The S.C.A. (Society for Creative Anachronism) is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Our "Known World" consists of 19 kingdoms, with over 30,000 members residing in countries around the world. Members, dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, attend events which feature tournaments, royal courts, feasts, dancing, various classes & workshops, and more.

Here in the Springfield area, we are in the Shire of OakHeart. This is located within the Kingdom of Calontir, which includes Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, and Northern Arkansas. More on the Kingdom can be found at http://www.calontir.sca.org/. OakHeart itself encompasses the south-western portion of Missouri. Roughly, these counties are what make up OakHeart:
