Welcome to the Shire of OakHeart! We are a shire within the Society for Creative Anachronism (S.C.A.) which is an organization that recreates selective parts of the Middle Ages.

OakHeart is a part of The Kingdom of Calontir and includes-among others-Springfield, Ozark, Nixa, Branson, Mount Vernon, and Ava Missouri. We try to accurately recreate many different aspects of the Middle Ages including: garb (clothing), armour, food, and camping.

If you are interested in learning how people in the Middle Ages lived and played, this is a wonderful group to belong to. Whether your interest is in learning to fight, armoury, metal-smithing, archery, or Elizabethan embroidery, we've got it all.

Weekly Fighter Practice
Covers begining through advanced fighting techniques. A social gathering for the populous, as well as a recruiting event for possible new membership. Garb is optional.
It is held every Wednesday from approximately 5:30pm until it is too dark see safely.

Monthly Meeting
Covers General Business for the Shire of OakHeart.
New-comers welcome! Garb is optional but encouraged.
It is held the First Tuesday of each month at 7pm.
